Hi Melanie: I like your story on your blog and am happy that you are going forward with your desire to teach. I think you are well suited to that aspiration and that you will be a great teacher, the kind who has significant impact on many of the students she comes into contact with.
Melba: I definitely did not recognize Michael's picture until you posted the comment on the photograph. I looked at it for some time and thought that the girl on the second row from the bottom and the third from the right might be Lauren and this was one of her class photos from Atlanta.
I really like the photos that you chose to post as well.
I love to know when people stop by my blog, so please leave me comments and let me know what you think!

This is me...a work in progress as I find my way through this thing we call life. I'm working on my 18th year of marriage, and a proud mommy to the most beautiful soon-to-be kindergartener in the world! I'm also public school teacher, a photographer, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and a friend. This is my view of the world...my place for musings about life, motherhood, photography, education and other stuff. The photos shown here are a few (randomly selected) favorites. You can see more by clicking on the link for my Facebook page below. :)
